My name is Anthony (Morris) and I currently work in a support position for an addictions treatment centre in the Downtown Eastside.
I have worked in various roles in this community, both professionally and as a volunteer.
I bring this background and my own lived experience to Life Quest Society. I believe strongly in the peer support model; I have seen the positive results in my own life and the lives of many others.
Member-at-Large
Grant Gayman
My name is Grant Gayman. While now retired, my previous experience includes 15 years as a labour and employment lawyer and nearly 20 years in social services in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
I joined the Life Quest Board because I believe strongly, from personal experience, in the power of lived-experience support for individuals addressing issues such as mental health and substance use.
As a visionary systems thinker, I have developed well-honed skills in financial management and strategy, consulting and operations, team building and staff mentorship.
Values based, transformational servant leadership is the foundation of my leadership style and focus.
One key element throughout all of my experiences is my capacity to build relationships and to collaborate with multiple stakeholders by fostering trust and by being an exceptional listener and transparent communicator.
